Median gross rents across Rutherford County range from around $1,000 to $1,600 per month, up by as much as $600 compared to five years earlier, the latest five-year estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau show.

Areas in the county’s northern half tend to post higher rents than those in the southern half, including areas around Lascassas, Halls Hill, and Woodbury pikes just east of MTSU’s campus.
