Finding gender gaps in pay and promotion: pivot tables, chi squares, and t-tests

Sidelines writer Sarah Grace Taylor and I collaborated in 2016 on this story, which analyzed Tennessee Board of Regents salary data and determined that female faculty earned significantly less than male facuty, both at Middle Tennessee State University and throughout the Tennessee Board of Regents system.
